Walkers Tours, a wholly owned subsidiary of John Keells Holdings, operates the luxury bespoke brand ArTravele. The company creates luxury travel experiences on the island and in the Maldives. Walk down memory lane, reconnect with nature, fall in love again, relax and retreat, sensescape, and adrenaline rush are all uniquely named luxury travel experiences curated by ArTravele. 

Coupled with the strategic assets of the group such as Cinnamon Air, Cinnamon Hotels and Cinnamon Life, the company provides the most exclusive experience to clients at the best possible rates.

Challenge

ArTravele’s target market is luxury travelers from all over the world. Displaying the brand at conventions around the world is one of the most effective ways to raise brand awareness. For these conventions, the company used to bring travel booklets with hundreds of pages highlighting various travel packages and experiences. The booklets were lengthy in order to ensure that prospective clients read all of the pages, and the company required a solution that not only reduced the size of the booklets but also provided interactive experiences.

OUR APPROACH

We minimized the size of the booklet into few pages with the use of Augmented Reality (AR). With AR, we augmented interactive experiences into these pages which the prospective clients scan and live the travel experiences. AR increased clients’ interaction with the brand. In addition, our AR platform enabled an opportunity for ArTravele to gain valuable insights such as the packages viewed by clients which were used to retarget the clients.
